Google Cloud Essentials is an introductory-level Quest designed to provide learners with hands-on practice with the Google Cloud's fundamental tools and services. This Quest is the recommended first step for those with little or no prior cloud knowledge, and will equip learners with the practical experience needed to begin their first Google Cloud project.

Throughout the Quest, learners will be guided through key concepts with the help of 1-minute videos. Topics covered include writing Cloud Shell commands, deploying virtual machines, running applications on Kubernetes Engine, and using load balancing.

By the end of the Quest, learners will have a better understanding of the Google Cloud platform and its basic features.

After completing Google Cloud Essentials, learners can apply their knowledge to create and deploy applications on the Google Cloud Platform.
