This course, UX Design: From Wireframe to Prototype, is designed to help students take their UX design skills to the next level. It builds on the concepts learned in UX Design: From Concept to Wireframe, and teaches students how to take a set of wireframes and interaction architecture and embody it in an interactive prototype.
Using a state-of-the-art prototyping tool, students will learn how to build a testable prototype and use it to gain preliminary user feedback. They will also learn how to document their prototype so that a development team can take it to the next level.
At the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of how to create a prototype from wireframes, how to use a prototyping tool, and how to document their prototype. They will also have the skills to create a prototype that can be used to gain user feedback and inform the development process.
This course is part of the User Experience (UX) Research and Design MicroMasters Program offered by MichiganX. It is designed for students who have a basic understanding of UX design and want to take their skills to the next level. It is also suitable for professionals who want to learn more about prototyping and user feedback.
By the end of this course, students will have the skills to create a prototype from wireframes, use a prototyping tool, and document their prototype. They will also have the knowledge to use their prototype to gain user feedback and inform the development process.
[Applications]
After completing this course, learners can apply their knowledge to create interactive prototypes for their own projects. They can also use the prototyping tool to gain preliminary user feedback and document their prototype for a development team. Additionally, learners can use the skills they have acquired to further their studies in the User Experience (UX) Research and Design MicroMasters Program offered by MichiganX.
