This course is designed to help students take their HTML & CSS skills to the next level by mastering the world's most popular content management system for building websites, WordPress. Students will learn how to install WordPress using a localhost, create a music festival landing page, add pages, install themes, create blog posts, customise their blog, optimise their website for search engines, create backups, and build a fully functional eCommerce T-Shirt store. Additionally, students will learn how to convert an existing HTML & CSS website to a fully functional WordPress theme, and gain a deeper knowledge of how WordPress themes are created. Finally, students will learn useful techniques such as exporting their localhost websites to a live server, and various plugins. All images and files needed to complete the course are included, and no extra software, subscriptions, or purchases are required.
