Course Overview

The Grant Writing webinar at the University of Maryland, College Park will provide an overview of how to identify classroom needs before writing grants. Participants will learn how to develop a budget for a grant proposal and discuss stimulus funding to move K–12 and after school STEM initiatives forward. This webinar is ideal for those interested in learning more about grant writing and how to secure funding for their projects.

After this course, participants are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained to their own grant writing projects. They should be able to identify classroom needs and develop a budget for a grant proposal. Additionally, they should be able to use stimulus funding to move K–12 and after school STEM initiatives forward. Finally, participants should be able to use the resources available at the University of Maryland, College Park to further their grant writing skills.
