Microsoft Azure Virtual Networks is a course designed to provide students with an introduction to virtual network configuration through the Microsoft Azure Portal and network configuration files. Students will learn how to use network services to configure and load balance network traffic using tools such as Azure DNS, Load Balancer, Azure Traffic Manager, and Application Gateway. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of how to connect their on-premises computers to Azure virtual networks as well as establishing connectivity between sites.
The course begins with an overview of the Azure Virtual Network service and its components. Students will learn how to create and configure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups. They will also learn how to configure network routing and access control lists.
Next, students will learn how to use Azure DNS to configure DNS records and how to use Azure Load Balancer to distribute network traffic. They will also learn how to use Azure Traffic Manager to manage traffic across multiple regions and how to use Application Gateway to provide secure access to web applications.
Finally, students will learn how to connect their on-premises computers to Azure virtual networks and how to establish connectivity between sites. They will also learn how to use Azure ExpressRoute to create private connections between Azure and on-premises networks.
By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of how to configure and manage virtual networks in Microsoft Azure. They will be able to create and configure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups. They will also be able to use network services to configure and load balance network traffic and establish connectivity between sites.
