Learners can learn a variety of skills from this SOLIDWORKS Class 6: SOLIDWORKS Basic Assemblies course. Learners will learn how to open an assembly file from nothing or from a part, the three types of mates in a SOLIDWORKS assembly, how to identify existing mates, how to delete and/or modify existing mates, and how to use the standard mates such as Coincident, Parallel, Perpendicular, Tangent, Concentric, Distance, Angle, and LOCK. Additionally, learners will gain an understanding of 3D modeling, CAD design, assembly design, and CAD software. This course is a great way to learn the fundamentals of 3D assembly design and gain the skills necessary to become a certified professional.
