Survival Chinese is the perfect course to prepare you for simple daily Chinese conversations. In this course, you will learn the fundamental concepts upon which you can easily build your Chinese language learning. By the end of this course, you will be able to conduct a simple conversation in Chinese with basic expressions, as well as the relevant reading and writing skills.
The course is taught by DominoChinese, the first foreign-run Chinese (Mandarin) teaching company in China. The course is constructed by foreigners for foreigners, and also includes the wide experience of their Chinese teachers. The course is taught entirely through videos, where concepts are explained and then shown in practice through dialogues with strangers on the street. Videos are shortened down to 1-5 minutes and quizzes are given between the videos based on what has been learned.
The instructor for this course is Felix Lattman, who founded Domino Chinese in Guangzhou, China, after spending some years in the city and teaching himself Chinese. When you sign up, you will also receive a coursebook that helps you review everything you learn much easier.
By the end of this course, you will be able to understand and use basic Chinese expressions, read and write simple Chinese characters, and understand the logic behind the language.
