This course, Developing IoT Solutions with Azure IoT, provides an overview of the Internet of Things (IoT) and how to use Microsoft Azure technologies in IoT solutions. Participants will learn the fundamentals of key platform features, such as device registration and tracking, cloud-to-device and device-to-cloud messaging, Azure analytics, and more. Through a combination of written and video-based instructional materials, along with a comprehensive series of hands-on lab activities, participants will gain an up-close look at real-world IoT skills that they can start using right away. Participants should bring their basic programming skills to the course.

[Applications]
After completing this course, learners can apply their knowledge to develop their own IoT solutions using Azure IoT. They can use the Azure IoT Hub to register and track devices, implement cloud-to-device and device-to-cloud messaging, store sensor data in the cloud using DocumentDB, and add remote management and update capabilities to their devices. Learners can also use Azure Stream Analytics to perform real-time monitoring of incoming data and to generate alerts. Finally, they can use Power BI to visualize their data.
