Course Overview

Skills and Knowledge:
This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to respond to life-threatening emergencies. Participants will learn how to perform life support techniques such as chest compressions, basic airway management, rescue breathing, AED use for defibrillation, and more. Additionally, participants will gain an understanding of the newest BLS course guidelines, which focus on doing several tasks simultaneously with a group process that promotes efficiency and minimization of errors. The course package includes a First Aid instructional presentation, a BLS instructional presentation, CPR AED & First Aid and BLS Provider Handbooks.
