Course Overview

This course, Interactivity with JavaScript and jQuery, is the third in the JavaScript for Beginners Specialization. It is designed to help students become more comfortable with the JavaScript language and jQuery plugins. Through a series of challenges, students will learn how to identify objects in JavaScript, create new objects and populate them with data, manipulate objects by adding, modifying and deleting data in objects, and manipulate the DOM based on the data in objects. Additionally, students will learn how to identify and articulate how multiple functions work together to create a more complex program, as well as identify processes for breaking larger programs into smaller, more manageable pieces. By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of the JavaScript language and jQuery plugins.
