Make Your Art: Time Management for Creatives is a course designed to help creatives make more time for their art and creative practice. Led by Liz Kettle, an Illustrator who has spent the past 5 years working a multitude of jobs while also carving out the time to make her art and build her creative business, Prints & Plants, this course is filled with her best tips for making more time to make art.
In this class, Liz will teach a variety of effective time management tools to make more space in your schedule for your art, creative practice, and to build your creative business. These skills can also be applied to manage your creative projects.
Participants will learn how to uncover their why, set boundaries, block their schedule, make traction on their dream, set annual, monthly, weekly, and daily goals, and reach their goals. They will also walk away with a clear approach to schedule time for their art, a variety of effective time management tools to practice, a renewed sense of focus and energy for their creative practice, a heightened sense of value for their art and/or creative business, and time management skills that can be applied to creative project management.
In order to participate in this class, participants will need a pencil or pen, the scheduling template PDF provided in the Resources section, some scrap paper to journal their answers to prompts throughout the class, and an open mind and readiness to make time for their creative practice.
At the end of the course, participants are encouraged to share their journey on Instagram, tag @prints_and_plants and #createwithliz, and join the Prints & Plants Table for weekly creative inspiration, tips, and yummy recipes.
