This course explores the fundamentals of stress and strain and axial loading in solid objects. Students will learn how to predict the response of engineering structures to various types of loading, and analyze the vulnerability of these structures to various failure modes. The course will focus on axial loading, and all content and materials are owned by either the Georgia Tech Research Corporation or Dr. Wayne Whiteman.
