This course provides an overview of the features and technologies for securing data in SQL Server 2016, SQL Server v.Next on Linux, and Azure SQL Databases. Students will learn how to authenticate users and connections, authorize users to access resources, audit access to data, and encrypt data. The course will also cover the importance of data security in today's security landscape. Upon completion of the course, students will have a better understanding of how to keep data secure. Note: These courses will retire in June. Please enroll only if you are able to finish your coursework in time.
