This MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is designed to educate patients, allied healthcare providers, vocal trainers/coaches, general medical practitioners and otolaryngologists about voice disorders. Participants will learn about the physiology of voice production, how vocal inefficiencies can lead to the development of voice disorders, and the behavioral, medical and surgical management options available. The course is divided into five modules, each followed by multiple choice questions. It is no longer available for CME Credit, but those interested in earning CME credits or a Verification of Attendance certificate must complete the Signature Track and registration process through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, CME Office. Upon completion of the course, physicians may be eligible to receive CME credits and other allied health professions may receive a Verification of Attendance certificate.
