This course provides an overview of the High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities of the SAP HANA platform. Participants will gain an understanding of the different levels of defense against redundancies to achieve high availability at the hardware, network, and data center layers. The course will also cover the different options to select RTO (recovery time objective) and RPO (recovery point objective) timelines based on planned and unplanned downtimes for the IT landscape. Demo video links will be provided to showcase the configurations and setup required for operations in a data center environment. This is the second course in the SAP HANA Core Knowledge series that provides insight into special features on the SAP HANA platform.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to apply the knowledge gained to configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery operations on the SAP HANA platform. They should be able to identify the different levels of defense against redundancies and understand the different HA/DR capabilities available on the platform. They should also be able to use the demo video links to configure and setup the platform for operations in a data center environment.
