An example task is provided to demonstrate the application of the concepts. Section 3 introduces students to the Simulink environment, toolbars, and library. Commonly used blocks such as bus selector, bus creator, scope blocks, data type conversion, constant, display, ground, terminator, in-port, out-port, gain, product, sum, unit delay, mux, demux, integrator, and discrete time integrator blocks are discussed. Logical and relational operator blocks, as well as various toolboxes and their usage, are also covered. Finally, a few examples of Simulink are provided.
